7.1. Work of system of injection

The controller receives the command for start of a control system at inclusion of ignition. If the immobilizer is activated, then it is in addition checked whether its code parcel coincides with a code in memory of the controller (at discrepancy the engine will not be started).

In operating time the controller processes information from sensors (the provision of a bent shaft, a butterfly valve, a mass consumption of air, temperature, oxygen (lambda probe), detonations, speeds) and – depending on power setting – issues commands of management for nozzles, the ignition module, the idling regulator, the valve of a purge of an adsorber, the relay of turning on of the fuel pump and fans of a radiator.

The corner of an advancing of ignition pays off the controller depending on the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft, load of the engine (a mass consumption of air or the provision of a butterfly valve), temperature of cooling liquid and existence of a detonation.

The composition of mix is regulated by duration of the operating impulse given on nozzles (the impulse, the more supply of fuel is longer). Fuel can "synchronously" move (depending on the provision of a bent shaft, at the same time nozzles join in pairs – for 1–4 and 2–3 cylinders) and "asynchronously" (irrespective of the provision of a bent shaft all nozzles work). The last mode is used at launch of the engine.

If at a provorachivaniye of a bent shaft of the engine the butterfly valve is opened by a starter more than for 75%, the controller perceives a situation as the mode of a purge of cylinders and does not give impulses on nozzles, blocking fuel supply. Act this way if there is a suspicion that mix of a pereobogashchen (the engine "is filled in") and therefore it does not ignite. If during a purge the engine begins to work, and its turns will reach 400 min. –1, the controller will include fuel supply.

When braking by the engine the controller impoverishes mix for decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases, and on some modes turns off fuel supply at all.

Supply of fuel is turned off also at switching off of ignition that prevents spontaneous ignition of mix in engine cylinders (dizeling).

At power failure the controller increases time of accumulation of energy in ignition coils (for reliable ignition of gas mixture) and injection impulse duration (for compensation of increase in time of opening of a nozzle). At increase in supply voltage time of accumulation of energy in coils of ignition and duration of the impulse given on nozzles decrease.

The lamp of control of a control system of the engine in a combination of devices informs the driver on malfunctions, but does not forbid the further movement of the car. If the system is serviceable, then at inclusion of ignition the lamp lights up, but dies away right after launch of the engine. If it burns at the working engine, in a control system of the engine there are malfunctions which conditional codes the controller writes down in memory (RAM). If further malfunction was gone (for example, the contact in a sensor chain was restored), the lamp can go out; at the same time the code of malfunction is not erased, and remains in memory and can be считан by means of the diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic socket located at the left under the dashboard (near the relay and safety locks). To erase codes from memory of the controller, it is necessary to switch-off the rechargeable battery not less than on 10 with (or to choose the corresponding mode on the diagnostic unit).

The refusal of some components of system of injection (electrogasoline pump and its chain, the module of ignition, candles and high-voltage wires) is not defined by the controller and, respectively, the lamp of control of a control system of the engine at the same time does not light up. However at interruptions in sparking the control unit can give a code of an incorrect signal of the sensor of oxygen.
