20.7. Removal of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and adjustment of a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

That air did not get to hydraulic system of brakes, we do not disconnect brake tubes from the main cylinder. We turn off two nuts of fastening of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier of brakes (see Removal of the main brake cylinder).

We remove the cylinder from hairpins and we take away it down, carefully bending brake tubes so that not to damage them.

We take out the backpressure valve from a rubber sealant in an opening of the case of the amplifier.

In salon we hook the screw-driver a lock washer of a finger of fastening of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier to a brake pedal. (Casings of a steering column are for descriptive reasons removed).

We remove a lock washer …

… also we take out a finger of fastening of a pusher to a pedal.

Head "on 13" we turn off four nuts of fastening of arms of the vacuum amplifier and pedal knot to a body front guard.

We bring a pusher of the amplifier out of an opening of a guard of a front and we take the vacuum amplifier assembled with an arm from a motor compartment.

We remove rubber laying, …

… sealant glass …

… and sealant.

Head "on 17" we turn off two nuts of fastening of the vacuum amplifier to an arm.

We separate an arm and the amplifier.

We establish the vacuum amplifier of brakes in the return sequence. At installation of the backpressure valve we moisten it and a sealant with the getting liquid of the WD-40 type.

Concerning the plane of fastening of a flange of the main brake cylinder 1,25–0,2 mm have to make Vystupany heads of an adjusting bolt of the vacuum amplifier. (The main brake cylinder is for descriptive reasons removed.)

For adjustment of a vystupaniye of a head of a bolt we hold passatizham the end of a rod, and a key "on 7" we rotate a bolt.

At the idle engine we regulate a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake.

For this purpose in salon a key "on 19" we weaken a stoplight switch lock-nut, holding it with a key "on 14".

Rotating the stoplight switch (at the disconnected wires), we establish it so that its buffer rested against a pedal emphasis, and the free wheeling of a pedal made 3–5 mm. In this situation we tighten a lock-nut.
For removal of the switch of a stoplight …

… we disconnect from it wires, …

… a key "on 19" we unscrew the buffer …

… also we remove it.

Having weakened a lock-nut, …

… a key "on 14" we turn out the stoplight switch from an arm of pedal knot …

… also we take out the switch.

We install the stoplight switch in the return sequence and we regulate a free wheeling of a pedal.
