If there is cold weather, and the day before the engine worked steadily and without extraneous noises, most likely, the reason of the increased resistance to rotation – the stiffened oil. In this case it is possible to try to start the engine by means of the second rechargeable battery (see at the end of the section "Diagnostics"). After start do not allow operation of the engine on high turns and you watch a control lamp of pressure of oil: at its fire on the working engine immediately stop it for 1-2 minutes that the thickened oil managed to flow down in the pallet.

If at start or operation of the engine extraneous noises are heard, check free rotation of pulleys of the pump of cooling liquid and the generator. At extraneous noises in a zone of the block or a head of cylinders disassemble the engine

Use engine oil according to climatic conditions.
When jamming the pump of cooling liquid replace a pump cover with a krylchatka, when jamming the generator – the bearing or the generator assembled.

In case of zadir on shaft, inserts, details of tsilindroporshnevy group, deformation of shaft, replace defective parts, find out and remove the cause of their failure

[K] Malfunction in a chain of low voltage Check the voltmeter whether supply voltage on the coil of ignition and the switchboard moves. If is not present, check an ohmmeter a chain from the rechargeable battery to the ignition coil (via the switch of ignition and the relay of inclusion of ignition) and further to the switchboard Smooth out the oxidized tips, tighten the weakened fastenings of wires, replace the damaged wires, the switch of ignition or its contact part, the relay of inclusion of ignition

Damage of isolation of high-voltage devices and chains – lack of sparking [K] Having reliably fixed the end of a high-voltage wire at distance of 8-10 mm from "mass" of the car, scroll the engine a starter (do not touch high-voltage chains!). Between a wire and "weight" the spark (for check use only obviously serviceable high-voltage wires) has to slip regularly. If the spark is absent on an ignition coil conclusion – the coil is faulty if on ignition distributor conclusions/conclusions – the rotor or a cover of the distributor are faulty. Breakdown of a rotor or cover is determined by progara or cracks on their surface. Serviceability of the resistor of a rotor (1 kOhm) is checked by an ohmmeter.

[B] For check replace high-voltage wires and the module of ignition obviously serviceable

Replace the faulty coil [K]/module [B] of ignition, the damaged high-voltage wires. Under trying conditions (salt on roads, the frosts alternating with thaw) it is desirable for operation to replace wires of times in 3–5 years.

[K] Clear a cover and a rotor of the distributor of dirt and moisture, – replace the fused rotor resistor, the punched rotor, a cover

[B] Gasoline availability (under pressure) in a fuel stage can be checked, having quickly pressed an union zolotnik in a stage end face (remember that gasoline is flammable!)

Go into the car in a warm garage in the winter, blow (the tire pump) a power supply system from the fuel pump to a gasoline tank [K], replace the fuel pump or its diaphragms [K], defective hoses and tubes

For check of high-voltage wires and the module of ignition replace them obviously serviceable

Disconnected (perhaps, for check) separate sensors, nozzles then included ignition (started the engine). At the same time in memory of the computer the corresponding code of malfunction which is not erased even after restoration of electric connections registers
Remove not less than on 10 sec. the "minus" plug from the accumulator or take out a safety lock not powered off system of injection (if is available). At the same time all codes of malfunctions are erased from memory of the computer. After that at the first inclusion of ignition the lamp will burn, however then will go out
