10.9. Removal of mechanisms of the drive of switching off of coupling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

We remove the transmission (see Removal of the transmission).

We remove a coupling switching off drive fork cover.

Having pulled, we take out a fork.

We remove the coupling switching off bearing.

We remove a spring from the bearing.

For replacement of the directing plug of the bearing of switching off of coupling we separate cases of coupling and the transmission (see Replacement of an epiploon of a main shaft).

The hammer we press off the plug which is subject to replacement...

… also we take out it.

The plug is condensed with a rubber ring.

At installation of the new plug we put on it a new rubber ring, we grease it with a thin layer of Litol-24 lubricant …

… also we press a suitable piece of a pipe.

We establish details in the return sequence, having greased the surfaces of friction of a fork of switching off of coupling and the Litol-24 lubricant directing plugs of the release bearing.
At installation of a fork of switching off of coupling …

… its ends come under short moustaches of a spring of the bearing of switching off of coupling and along with it the spherical support of a fork of switching off of coupling (is for descriptive reasons removed) enters a fork spring cut.

Useful tips

Sharpening of the ends of a fork and hook

Replacement of a fork of switching off of coupling

It is possible to replace a coupling switching off fork without dismantle of a case of coupling. Having turned off two bolts fixing the working cylinder of coupling, we take him aside. We remove a rubber cover of a fork and we take it. We cut the ends of a new fork on sharpened or a file on the plane like a wedge (see fig.). Lighting with a lamp via the hatch the release bearing, we put a fork into place, having got its ends under a spring on the release bearing by means of a hook. We establish into place a cover, the cylinder of coupling and we regulate a free wheeling of a fork (4–5 mm).
