10.1. Features of a design

Coupling – one-disk, dry, with the central press spring of diaphragm type. It is located in the aluminum case attached by bolts to the block of the engine and structurally integrated with the transmission. The coupling drive – hydraulic.

The casing of coupling is connected to a flywheel six bolts. In a flywheel there are three pins which at installation enter the corresponding openings of a casing, aligning it. The casing is connected by three couples of elastic steel plates with rivets to a press disk. The casing is connected by other three plates to the persistent flange turned to the coupling switching off bearing ("release"). This knot in collecting (coupling "basket") is balanced at the stand therefore it is necessary to replace it entirely. Replacement is necessary at strong wear of a surface of a press disk or "draft" of a spring.

The conducted disk assembled with a spring damper of tortional fluctuations is established between a flywheel and a casing of coupling and can move on vents of a main shaft of the transmission. A disk replace at a beating in a zone of slips more than 0,5 mm, their cracking, teases or uneven wear, and also if distance from a slip surface to rivets less than 0,2 mm.

The bearing of switching off of coupling is installed on the coupling which at inclusion switching off of coupling moves on the directing plug, influencing a persistent flange of a diaphragm spring. At the switched-off coupling between the bearing and a persistent flange there has to be a gap which is defined by a free wheeling of a pusher of a fork of switching off of coupling (see Adjustment of the drive of switching off of coupling). The bearing does not demand service and lubricant. It is replaced in case of the increased noise at coupling inclusion.

The coupling switching off fork – steel stamped, is in a case of coupling and shakes on a spherical support (under it on a fork vyshtampovano deepening). To a spherical support the fork is drawn in by a lamellar spring (a priklepanny fork in a middle part). The ends of a fork rest against the coupling of the bearing of switching off of coupling and are drawn in to it by a figured spring. The opening for a clutch release fork lever in a case is closed by a rubber corrugated cover. The fork is constantly drawn in to a pusher of the working cylinder by an ottyazhny spring.

The pedal of coupling is suspended on an axis in an arm. For simplification of effort at inclusion of coupling on its top end the servopruzhina is fixed. For the guaranteed return of a pedal to a starting position the returnable spring serves (weaker). The pedal is pivotally connected to a pusher which enters dredging of the piston of the main cylinder of coupling. The main cylinder is fixed in a motor compartment on two hairpins welded on an arm of pedals. The main cylinder is connected by a steel tube and a rubber hose to the working cylinder fixed on a coupling case by two bolts. When pressing a pedal the piston of the main cylinder compresses liquid, the piston of the working cylinder starts and through a pusher influences a coupling switching off fork. At a pedal otpuskaniye the fork under the influence of an ottyazhny spring presses on a pusher, returning pistons in a starting position.

In a hydraulic actuator of coupling the DOT-3 or DOT-4 brake fluid is used. Its stock is in the tank connected to the main cylinder a rubber hose. Under a cover of a tank there is a rubber corrugated diaphragm isolating a tank cavity from atmospheric moisture and dust. For pumping of a hydraulic actuator (when replacing its details or changing liquid) the union on the working cylinder is provided.
